This is a very wearable ring, with a great deal of charm and style. Not many rings from the Art Deco period boast such an array of different cuts – testament to the skill and ingenuity of the artisan who created the piece around 100 years ago.
The centre stone displays extraordinary fire and is a very a bright white. The colour and clarity have been assessed within the setting as G/VS1 – very high for an old cut diamond. Transitional cuts are very rare as they bridged the gap between old European cuts and modern brilliants. They were only manufactured for a short period between the wars in the early 20th century.
