The idea of a diamond floating in a frame of metal was unheard of. It gave the diamonds instant wearability, a casual look, far from the more traditional prong settings of the past.
This necklace features 11 natural diamonds with a total carat weight of 1.56ct. Each diamond is fully encircled in a bezet setting. The last retail price at Tiffany & Co was £13,000.
