The 19th century technique of paillonne enamel work involves sandwiching delicate layers of coloured enamel between fine sheets of gold. The result is an intense and rich colour which is sure to turn the head and grab the eye.
First produced in the 1960s, this design by Jean Schlumberger remains beyond time and beyond fashion; an icon, it exists in its own time. Perhaps unremarkably, Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall owned this exact bracelet.
This beautiful example, manufactured in 2008, is supplied complete with original box.
