A wonderful vintage 1980s Peridot ring by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co. The ring is in incredible original condition and is truly striking. Produced during the dying days of disco, it is set with an intensely coloured cushion cut Peridot weighing approximately 20 carats.
It formed part of the estate of a New York socialite; we like to think it made a guest appearance or two at Studio 54. Paloma Picasso is the daughter of arguably the greatest painter of the 20th Century, Pablo Picasso. She grew up in France and began working for Tiffany & Co. in the early 1980s. She is famous for her bold use of colour and strident designs.
This ring weighs 30.5 grams, is a size M (UK), 6 (US) and is not re-sizable.
