An exceptionally special natural 0.54ct D colour, Internally Flawless (IF) round brilliant cut diamond is perfectly mounted on the classic Cartier Love ring. A hard to find ring by Cartier which combines the perfect Aldo Cipullo design with the sentiment and tradition of a solitaire engagement ring.
Each of these rarely seen rings is made to order by Cartier; finding an example as perfect as this pre-owned is a one-off. The original receipt from 2022 shows this ring was £11,400.00 when purchased new at Cartier in London.
Aldo Cipullo created the Love design in New York, 1969. Allegedly the design was inspired by a relationship break up which led him to think about the concept of permanent love. He was actually working for Tiffany & Co. at the time, but Tiffany rejected the concept so he took it to Cartier. The rest, as they say, is history.
A certificate from GIA confirms the diamond's characteristics, including it's premium Triple-X grading for cut, polish and symmetry.
