A stunning early Art Deco, circa 1915 2.20ct H/SI1 Old Mine Cut Diamond engagement ring surrounded by a halo of natural calinbre cut rubies. This ring was entirely handmade in platinum. There is a subtle wave to the border of the ring that proves it was made by hand and not cast.
The ring is accompanied by a third part certificate which states that the diamond is estimated to weigh 2.20ct with a colour and clarity estimated at H/SI1. The rubies are natural and deemed to be probably Thai in origin. Some thermal heat enhancement is detected. The valuation given by the third party is £16,500.
The head of the ring measures 13.50mm x 13mm
Ring size is currently S or 9 1/2 US.
