A wonderful Antique 3-Stone Old Mine Cut Diamond ring with a total carat weight of 2.15ct. Handcrafted in France in approximately 1920, the three Old Mine Cut Diamonds weigh a total of 2.10ct split between an approximate 1.05ct centre stone and two 0.55ct side stones. Colour and clarity are independently assessed as I-J and SI1-SI2.

The romance of 3-stone engagement rings is steeped in symbolism and tradition. Each stone traditionally represents the past, present, and future of a couple's relationship, encapsulating the essence of time and the journey of love. The central stone, often the largest, symbolizes the current power and presence of the couple's love, flanked by two side stones that echo the memories of the past and the dreams for the future.

This trio of diamonds or gemstones, set closely together, reflects a narrative of enduring commitment, with the sparkle of each stone illuminating a unique chapter in the couple's love story. The design is versatile, allowing for a variety of cuts, settings, and gemstone combinations, making each ring as unique as the bond it celebrates. The 3-stone engagement ring is not just a piece of jewellery; it's a timeless testament to love's resilience and growth.

Featuring the dog's head French hallmark for platinum, which was introduced in 1912 to replace the Mascaron.
