An absolutely wonderful and very collectable Tiffany & Co. Mesh Scarf Necklace by the inimitable designer, Elsa Peretti. Designed in the 1970s during the heady days of Studio 54, Halston, Liza Minelli and, of course, disco!
Elsa Peretti joined Tiffany & Co. in 1974. To say that she revolutionised the jewellery world is an understatement. Take a look at her bone cuff design from the mid 1970s. It could have been designed today. Her smooth naturalistic designs are still as fresh today as they were 40 years ago.
In incredible original condition, and complete with original case and Tiffany Blue Box, it is stamped with UK hallmarks for 18k gold and is signed T&Co. 750 Peretti.
The necklace is 38 inches long and 6 centimetres wide. It weighs 100.3 grams.
