An extraordinary 5-stone Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring from the Edwardian era, featuring superior H/I VS1/VS2 diamonds. It is very rare to find diamonds of this quality in an antique ring. The higher 'white' (or colourless) colours are especially rare.
These diamonds play with light in such a way as to deliver excellent fire and sparkle, as you can see on our video. Old cut diamonds are cut deeper to keep more light play within the stone; it's this that helps create the 'fire'.
Each diamond is subtly graduated allowing the setting to present symmetrically. The total carat weight is 1.20ct. The band itself is hand-made from 18k gold (tested).
