A beautiful double headed black Panthère Bracelet by Cartier. This is a very sturdy, wearable bracelet, in remarkable condition for a vintage piece. All the markings are clear and we have carefully cleaned and gently polished the bracelet in readiness for a new owner.
These collectible silverium pieces were manufactured in the late 1980s utilising a patented technique combining silver and sulphur. The initial patent was filed in 1984 and became an instant hit. Most of the pieces of silverium jewellery were made in the late 1980s. This created a black colour throughout the piece, not just a surface patina.
The technique was developed by atelier Lucien Vachey and every piece of black Cartier silverium is stamped with a lozenge shaped poinçon which features the LV of Lucien Vachey. Watch the video in our gallery to learn more.
