A wonderfully comfortable and elegant Vintage Cartier Tubogaz or gaspipe necklace composed of intertwined white and yellow 750 (18k Gold). Probably manufactured in the 1940/50s.
The necklace was manufactured for Cartier by the atelier R. Boutet, who was based in the pretty town of Bourges, just south of Paris.
The necklace is super easy to wear and is in fabulous condition. It has been meticulously crafted and is in very good condition. Whilst not a statement piece, the subtle twists of metal provide an understated but very chic halo around the neck.
Signed Cartier. With serial number and French hallmarks for 18k gold.
Supplied gift-ready, complete with Cartier pouch.
Length is 16 inches and weight is 34.2 grams.
