A wonderful pair of whimsical Angela Cummings Dice Earrings for Tiffany & Co. Made in the early 1980s, these earrings feature a total lucky number seven. Inlaid with onyx and mother of pearl in positive and negative versions of each other and set in warm and substantial 18k yellow gold.
Angela Cummings joined Tiffany & Co in 1967 but did not launch her eponymous collection until 1974. She was known for her focus on craftsmanship, eschewing traditional high jewellery materials like diamonds and gemstones and replacing them with delicate inlays of mother of pearl, lapis, turquoise and onyx.
The earrings are signed Tiffany & Co. 750 with maker's mark for Angela Cummings and additional UK hallmarks for 18k Gold.
Each earring measures 18mm x 18mm and their total weight is 11.7 grams.
