A show stopping piece of French history.
The horses head hallmark and workmanship date the bracelet to between 1837 and 1847. The horses head denotes workmanship from outside Paris. This bracelet was made during the reign of Louis Philippe (last king and penultimate monarch of France).
Each plaque of 18k Rose Gold is overlaid with a neo classical frieze 18k yellow gold. A small part of the frieze is missing on one of the back plates (pictured). The rest of the design is not compromised.
The width of the bracelet at the widest part is 6cm.
The internal circumference is 18cm or 7 inches.
Weight is 39.4 grams.
Fitted with safety chain.
