Aldo Cipullo created the 'Love' design in New York, in 1969. Allegedly the design was inspired by a relationship break up, which led Aldo to think about the concept of permanent love.
He was actually working for Tiffany & Co. at the time but Tiffany rejected the concept so he took it to Cartier. The rest, as they say, is history.
This Cartier Love Bracelet is stamped Cartier 750 20 and with a unique serial number. Additionally, it has Swiss Hallmarks (18k Yellow Gold).
It is supplied complete with a Cartier screwdriver and pouch.
Size 20; weight of the bracelet is 37.5 grams.
