A wonderful chunky gold vintage 1996 necklace by Cartier. This necklace epitomises the 90s style. Think Versace supermodels like Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford. Crafted as 4 rows of half moon shapes it makes for a dense gold look around the neck.
Each semi circular piece of warm 18k gold has been hand finished with a delicate pillowy profile. The clasp is strong and secure.
The necklace has been recently re-polished in our London workshops.
Signed Cartier, with serial number, 750. With a 18k Gold Swiss St Bernard's hallmark and a 750 convention mark.
The necklace is approximately 17.5 inches or 44 centimetres in length and weighs 109 grams.
