A hugely desirable handmade 3-stone Engagement Ring set with a 1.63ct Unheated Sapphire and two Transitional Cut Diamonds, dating from the 1920s. The central Sapphire, with its deep royal blue colour, has been Lovingly Restored by our skilled Master Lapidarist to as it will have presented over 100 years ago.
Either side of the Sapphire sit Transitional Cut Diamonds with a total carat weight of approximately 1.20tcw. Transitional Cut Diamonds bridge the gap between vintage allure and contemporary brilliance. Crafted during the 1920s through to the 1940s, these gems feature the smaller tables, higher crowns, and pronounced culets characteristic of their era.
Each diamond offers an intimate glow that modern cuts cannot replicate, with faceting that emphasizes a deep, warm sparkle over sheer brightness. Ideal for those who cherish a link to the romance of the past, transitional cuts bring a touch of history to modern living.
The shank and claws are handmade in 18k yellow & white gold (tested); it would make a wonderful engagement ring or right hand ring.
