A wonderful and exceptionally rare piece, oozing style, charm and sophistication, in original condition. This vintage ring was made in 1981, during the dying days of disco. It is set with an intensely coloured 20mm x 15mm oval Amethyst. It formed part of the estate of a New York socialite. We like to think it made a guest appearance or two at Studio 54.
Paloma Picasso is the daughter of arguably the greatest painter of the 20th Century, Pablo Picasso. She grew up in France and began working for Tiffany & Co. in the early 1980s. She is famous for her bold use of colour and strident designs.
The ring weighs 17.7 grams, is a size K½ (UK), 5.5 (US) and is not re-sizable.
