This absolutely stunning vintage piece by Cartier was handmade in the 1990s by their uniquely talented team in Paris. Some 53 beautiful Akoya Pearls create a wonderfully elegant and discrete means of displaying the genuine beauty of the much sought after dolphin.
The clasp and the dolphin are in 18k yellow gold. The dolphin is encrusted with over 80 wonderfully bright, lively diamonds and a single emerald ‘eye’.

The necklace measures 18 inches / 45 cm and weighs 45.5 grams. The pearls measure 7.0 – 7.5mm in diameter. The clasp is fashioned from 18k gold and is stamped Cartier, 750 with French hallmarks. There is a serial number imprinted on both the dolphin and the clasp 722***
